The Great TV Turn-off is an interesting story of surviving a week without TV. It might have been a bit exaggerated, but the plot is interesting. There really are many things we can do instead of sitting on the couch and staring at a picture box.

My kids liked this book, and I liked the thought it provoked about the impact of TV on our lives! They initially groaned when I gave the book to them, but both son and daughter liked it. (Ages 7 and 8.)

Good children’s book. Part of a series. Good values. If your child or grandchild is starting chapter books, this is a good one for them.
