Christmas mystery for new readers. No better stocking stuffer available. Written by famous author Beverly Lewis, who writes fantastic stories for all ages. This Cul-de-sac kids series is intended to get youth interested in books. It is inexpensive and short enough to be read easily and quickly. Like kids attention spans. As a teacher, this type of book is welcomed for just getting the kids to pick up a book rather than a TV or video game controller. Books like this may make a difference to a child, a difference that will last a lifetime.

Very cute!

About this book:

Decent, an Enjoyable Read for Ages 6-8

There is not a lot to the story, and the ending left my 7-year-old a little surprised that the ending want better developed. However, you can’t expect too much from a children’s book written for young readers. It lacks the intrigue and story development of series like the Boxcar Children and the Magic Tree House, but there was enough to the story to keep my 7-year-old’s attention for a few nights while we read it together at bedtime.

Fun Story

This was a cute story, great for grade school kids. The “mystery” nothing creepy, and is fun. It something that is not apparent at first, but when the mystery is solved, you think, “of course.” I think this is good for this age group, and would be very enjoyable to read with a child or for a child to read themselves. The book is part of a series, but can be read by itself without getting “lost.” Recommend this.

Cute Christmas story for kids of any age.

I am a huge fan of Beverly Lewis and I came across this ebook when it was free on Amazon.com so I thought I would get it even though it is a kid book. I think kids would enjoy this chapter book and even adults will for a quick read. I think I read it in about 10 mins. I didn’t know that Beverly Lewis wrote children books and now I will have to keep my eyes open for more for my grand daughter and future grand kids.

Delightful story about the real meaning of Christmas and friendships

What a treasure this children’s book is. A new neighbor has moved onto the cul-de-sac and he sure looks scary. Christmas is on it’s way and love and friendship will prevail. This bok teaches that the best gift to give is of ourselves. A simple message and little mystery to solve, what could be better? I loved this little book and think we are never too old for simple messages told by a child at heart.

The Crazy Christmas Angel Mystery is a nice holiday story for the very young child. The messages that I got from it was, don’t judge others, until you get to really know them, and when working as a team, you can get things accomplished. Whether it’s to solve a “mystery” as in this book, or to remedy a situation, as in the children making an effort to know the new neighbor.

This is a really fun book. I liked it. The boy has a silly fear over an old man. It isn’t that scary at all. I was surprised at the ending.
