Scraps to Snacks is a great cookbook to teach kids the importance of not letting your food go to waste! The contributors to this book had some really great ideas and super simple recipes to follow. I loved the safety tips given at the start of the book, and the pictures were realistic and very helpful. Scraps to Snacks is a great addition to not only a family’s book shelf, but also very useful in a classroom where children are taught the importance of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle!

What a wonderful idea! As much as the recipes, I enjoyed reading the authors’ mission statement, and reading the blurb about each child. The book is also great in that it stresses food safety, cleanliness, and necessary supervision. One of the greatest children’s cookbooks I’ve seen in a long time.

What a great book!

A great project for kids, by kids! This group of young robotics students have taken a problem and found a solution. They’ve come up with some creative and fun recipes to repurpose food scraps. This is a great book to share with your kids, especially young fans of MasterChef junior or the food network.

When my daughter was younger she was in a club somewhat like yours. Clubs or groups like this so great for our children, I’m so sorry more children are not joining, they truly don’t know what they are missing. Please parents encourage your children in these areas as they help them grow in so many ways . Also many thanks to the adults that work and encourage these children! All of you have done a fantastic job.
