Amazon makes popular books available for free. This blog lists the top bestsellers, top ratings movers and new books that are free.
I know you can take a selected title, but how do you utilize this service? Can anyone tell us? For the Prime books you get one a month but they are never the books I would want to read and I seldom finish the free book. I like the earlier Kindle with the keyboard with the buttons. These are no longer on offer except used models. I ordered several of refurbished models before they were gone forever. The items were stated “fulfillment by Amazon.” Two of them never worked at all. There was no guarantee. Amazon is a big company that makes plenty of money and has no need to squeeze the customers. If any of you are old enough remember how many book stores were available in the past. Think about how few book stores are left now. As to content, we are now at the mercy of the book editors. If BN folds we will be buying our media from one company and maybe not even that.
I think that there may be some confusion…

First, this blog is updated regularly, it just overwrites previous issues. That means that as long as you have it, you will likely only ever have one post. I tried the free trial and received a two-day-old post. A couple of hours later, it was overwritten with a new post. Not to worry, the new post contained all of the free books from the first post, as well as deleted one book from the first post that was no longer free, and added two new free books.
Lots of free books. Great way to find new authors

I get a list of about 10 free books every day or two right on my kindle. Then I can add the ones I like to my kindle. The downside is that there isn’t a 1 click add. You click the book and it takes you to the book on the amazon site on your kindle. From there you can add it to the kindle for free. Works for me
